2026 Alamosa Youth Wrestling
Divisions
Children born in 2021-2020 are in Div. I
Children born in 2019-2018 are in Div. II
Children born in 2017-2016 are in Div. III
Children born in 2015-2014 are in Div. IV
Children born in 2013 are in Div. V
Children in this age group who are in 6th or 7th grade cannot register and are
encouraged to wrestle with OMS.
Program Flier:
Registration: January 12th - February 23rd at the Alamosa Rec Center
- Participants can still register after the deadline, but they will have to do so inperson with the Wrestling Associations Staff. There is a $5 Late fee after registration deadline for On-Site Registration.
Season: February 24th - April 4th 2026
Cost: $40 per Wrestler
Equipment: A club singlet will be checked out at the first practice.
- All athletes will have to provide their own headgear and wrestling shoes. THESE ARE NOT PROVIDED and are also NOT REQUIRED. Tennis Shoes are okay.
Practices:
- Practices will be held at the Alamosa High School. Please use the NW entrance; take the stairway up to the wrestling room

- PARENT MEETING SCHEDULED FOR FIRST PRACTICE NIGHT OF EACH PRACTICE.

IMPORTANT:
- If this is the athletes first time with this program, a Birth Certificate MUST be provided to staff at the FIRST DAY of practice. DO NOT provide them to the Rec Center Staff.
